Choir members sought

The latest addition to the arts scene in Roscommon town will be Roscommon Chamber Choir, which is currently being set up. It is expected that the group will have approximately 24 of the county’s finest voices. Roscommon Chamber Choir is being set up primarily as a competition choir to compete in various choral competitions, both nationally and internationally. The first project will be to record a Christmas CD in time for release in December. The choir will rehearse every Wednesday in Roscommon Town commencing in September. Applicants between the ages of 18 and 30 are now being asked to complete an application form and return it before Monday 12th of May. Auditions will be carried out in the months of May and June.
