Chef Gerry Doyle shares recipes in new book!

An attractive cookbook by chef Gerard Doyle which was launched in Gleeson’s Townhouse last Friday night was hailed by Shannonside Radio’s Joe Finnegan as ‘a perfect Christmas present.’    Gerry Doyle is Head Chef at Gleeson’s in Roscommon town. He has previously worked in top hotels throughout Ireland and the USA.    Addressing the large attendance, broadcaster Joe Finnegan confirmed that he had spent three years training to be a chef some years ago. He had realised that ‘the wonderful world of food’ wasn’t for him but he retains a great appreciation of food and a fondness for cooking.    ‘You need talent and dedication (to be a chef) which Gerry has in abundance
