Nial Tully and Catherine Hanly were revealed as shortlisted candidates for the 2016 Clanwilliam Pharmacist Awards at a special reception in Dublin last Thursday.
The awards raise awareness of the outstanding work being undertaken by pharmacists across the country, while raising funds for the Pharmacy Benevolent Fund.
Both Nial and Catherine are based at the same pharmacy in Roscommon; Tully’s Pharmacy in Castlerea. Nial has been shortlisted for the Excellence in Community Pharmacy Award, sponsored by Teva while Catherine has been nominated for the Young Pharmacist of the Year Award, sponsored by Pharmawealth.
Nial and Catherine have been invited to attend a gala awards ceremony on Wednesday, 26th of November where the winners in each category, as well as Ireland’s Overall Pharmacist of the Year, will be announced.
