Castlecoote Tidy Towns are celebrating ‘The Big Hello’ over the Bank Holiday weekend (Saturday May 4th, Sunday 5th and Monday 6th) sponsored by Roscommon County Council.
Celtic Cru will kick the weekend off in PJ’s this Saturday with music, song and fun. There will be a raffle in aid of Castlecoote Tidy Towns with first prize a freezer-ready lamb sponsored by Cllr. Ivan and Martin Connaughton to coincide with the Roscommon Lamb Festival.
There will be other fantastic prizes on the night too so come along and say ‘Hello’ and enjoy the atmosphere on the night.
On Sunday evening, in PJ’s, you will be entertained by a ukulele group ‘Ukephoric’ from Knockcroghery, starting at 8 pm.
Then on Bank Holiday Monday, meeting at the top of Emlagh Road at 11 am, there will be a walk/cycle, which will be a nature walk arriving at the bog if you feel energetic enough.
All are welcome, both young and old, and there will be refreshments afterwards at Castlecoote Stores. So come along and enjoy the ‘Big Hello’ in Castlecoote this weekend.
