The Carers Association are holding a mini-marathon in conjunction with the Roscommon Lamb Festival on Monday, 5th May and they are appealing for people to take part. The mini-marathon will start at 3 pm from Hannon’s Hotel carpark. Entry Fee is €10 and it is open to everyone of all ages – runners, walkers, joggers, and wheelchair users. Registration forms are available from The Carers Association, Carnagh, Kiltoom, Athlone and/or enquiries to 090-6489296. Closing date for entries is Friday, 25th April 2008.
