Three points in injury-time, all scored by the player of the match, Shauna Fallon, ensured that Roscommon have qualified for the Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Junior Camogie semi-final.
Roscommon were the better team for most of the opening half and they led by 0-6 to 0-4 at half-time.
By the 40th minute Roscommon led by 0-9 to 0-4 but Limerick struck 1-3 without reply to go ahead.
But four unanswered points late in the game from the majestic Fallon saw Roscommon home.
