Dermot Hughes U-20 Division 1 Semi-finals: St. Brigid’s 2-9 St. Dominic’s 0-13
St. Brigid’s edged into the final after a very tight game against neighbours St. Dominic’s at Ballyforan. Dominic’s were on top early on but a converted penalty from Jack McDonnell kept Brigid’s in touch by half-time: St. Dominic’s 0-8 St. Brigid’s 1-3.
A second Jack McDonnell goal saw Brigid’s assume control with points from Brian Stack (2), John Cunningham and Conor Gleeson proving decisive.

Clann na nGael 2-13 Pádraig Pearses 0-3
Clann were the easy winners at Johnstown. The first half was a low-scoring affair at the end of which Clann led by 0-4 to 0-1. But the home side were in total control after the break with goals in the final ten minutes from Cian McManus and Shea Henry.

Note: The U-20 Division One Final between Clann na nGael and St. Brigid’s will take place this Sunday in Johnstown. Throw-in at 1 pm.
