Co. Roscommon Supported Employment Service is hosting a breakfast briefing for employers and potential employers in King House, Boyle from 9.30 am to 11.30 am on Monday, 4th February next. During the briefing details of the forthcoming IASE National Job Shadow Initiative will be announced. This is a nationwide initiative launched by an Taoiseach and John Giles at Dáil Éireann last June. It is aimed at giving people an opportunity to shadow a person at work as he/she goes through a typical day’s work. The event will be happening on a national basis and each county will be taking part so there will be good media attention for all those businesses that are willing to support their county. Roscommon Supported Employment Service would appreciate the support of all employers in the county in showing that we are focused on equality and inclusion when it comes to employment practice in Co. Roscommon. Information on FÁS incentives and grants will also be presented. A continental breakfast will be served. An employers’ quiz night will be held in Larry’s Pub Roscommon on Friday, 22nd February to promote a Job Shadow initiative by Roscommon Supported Employment. All proceeds to go to the Cystic Fibrosis Association of Ireland.
