This month, the smash hit sensation ‘The Full Monty’ rolls into Boyle, and one thing is for sure – Roscommon will never be the same again!
Sligo-based theatre troupe Pop-Up Theatre are taking their recent incredibly successful production, which played to nightly standing ovations in the Hawks Well Theatre to St. Joseph’s Hall for two explosive performances on Saturday and Sunday, August 20th and 21st. Although based in Sligo, the group is proud to have some of Boyle’s finest talents nestled in their super talented team including Brendan Reid and Darragh Beirne in the leading line-up, with Shane McPhearson and Enda Regan backstage.
The musical, based on the 1997 movie follows six unemployed Buffalo steel workers who are low on cash and in search of inspiration, they decide to stage their own Chippendales style production, but to go all the way! An intoxicating mix of riotous comedy, raw drama and excellent music, The Full Monty is the ultimate night out and a production not to be missed.
