Dysart FC 1 Ballinasloe Town 3: Title-holders Ballinasloe Town took a big step towards retaining their title when they beat leaders Dysart 3 – 1 in Dysart. Peter Keighery converted a penalty kick after Robbie Brooks was fouled with ten minutes played. Five minutes later, Dysart were back in the game when David Thompson scored from close range following a free kick. Darragh Concannon added two more for Ballinasloe Town before the end of the game. Ballinasloe Town are level on points with Dysart, but have a game less played. Castlerea Celtic was not in action and they are two points behind Ballinasloe Town with the same number of games played. G&H ROSCOMMON CHALLENGE CUP Glen Celtic 1 Skyvalley Rovers 2: Skyvalley Rovers are through to round 3 of the G&H-sponsored Challenge Cup following a hard earned 2 – 1 win over fellow Premier Division side Glen Celtic in Glenamaddy. Frankie Creavin gave the winners a 1 – 0 lead in the first half when he got on the end of a Sean Fahy cross. Glen Celtic levelled the game in the second half. However Sean Fahy secured a place against Moore United B in the next round, when he scored the winner with ten minutes left to play. ATHLONE NISSAN DIVISION ONE Moylough 79 2 Ericsson 0: In the only game played in the Athlone Nissan Division 1, Moylough 79 beat Ericsson FC 2 – 0 in Moylough. John Miskell and Thomas Cheevers scored for Moylough in the second half. Cam Celtic received a walk over bottom side Lough Harps. BEÁR NA RÁILLE DIVISION TWO Cloonfad United B 0 Loughglynn United 3: League leaders Loughglynn moved to within a single point of winning the Beár an Ráille Division 2 championship when the beat Cloonfad United B 3 – 0 in Cloonfad. Loughglynn were 2 – 0 ahead at half time and added a third in the second half. Donald Ward scored one and Mark O’Brien added two before being sent off. Loughglynn are six points ahead of their nearest challengers with two games left to play.
