Roscommon Fianna Fail Councillor Anthony Waldron has told the Roscommon People that he hopes to secure funding for the lighting up of Roscommon and Ballintubber castles. Cllr. Waldron said ‘There is funding there available for lighting and I am confident that we can secure it in the very near future’ he said. ‘It would be a big boost to both areas if we could get both castles lit up and it would increase their profiles as tourist attractions’ he concluded.
