Battle lines drawn for club championships!

Pearses and Brigid’s meet in group stage

The draw for this year’s Hodson Bay Hotel Senior Football Championship was made at The Percy French Hotel in Strokestown on Monday evening and served up a number of mouth-watering group fixtures.

Reigning champions Pádraig Pearses will face fierce rivals St. Brigid’s in Group C as well as Strokestown and Tulsk.

Last year’s Intermediate champions St. Faithleach’s are in Group B with Clann na nGael, Western Gaels and Boyle.

Group A features Roscommon Gaels, Elphin, Michael Glavey’s and Oran.

The draw for the Mulryan Construction Intermediate Football Championship saw St. Croan’s drawn in Group A alongside Creggs, Fuerty and Kilmore.

Group B features last year’s beaten finalists St. Dominic’s, as well as Shannon Gaels, St. Brigid’s and St. Aidan’s.

Clann na nGael B, Kilbride, Castlerea St. Kevin’s and Éire Óg are in Group C.

In the King and Moffatt Junior Championship, Ballinameen, Boyle B, Strokestown B and St. Michael’s are in Group A.

Pádraig Pearses, Roscommon Gaels B, Kilglass Gaels and St. Joseph’s will meet in Group B.

Group C features St. Dominic’s B, St. Ronan’s, Western Gaels B and St. Barry’s.
