Bank of Ireland hosts Strokestown Enterprise Town event in this weekend

Bank of Ireland’s popular Enterprise Town initiative is coming to Strokestown, Co. Roscommon this weekend.

  Taking place in the Community and Sports Centre, Strokestown, on Friday 10th November and Saturday 11th November, the events will feature a Business, Community and Sports Expo as well as plenty of family-friendly activity.

  The Bank of Ireland Enterprise Town event has been organised by the Bank in partnership with the local community of Strokestown.

  The initiative aims to promote enterprise and drive momentum for local businesses and the wider sports and social community by connecting residents with all the town has to offer. Events are free to attend and are open to both customers and non-customers of Bank of Ireland.

   The Enterprise Town Business initiative event in Strokestown Community and Sports Centre will take place from 6 pm-8.30 pm on Friday night.

  Guest speaker on Friday evening is well-known entrepreneur Gavin Duffy from Dragons Den.

  An official opening ceremony will include a ribbon cutting by Eugene Murphy TD and Chairperson of Strokestown Community Development Association & Town Team. This will be followed by a Business panel discussion.

  There will be over 70 local businesses, clubs and societies exhibiting at the event.

  On Saturday (11th) the day will kick off at 10.15 with a local school blitz followed by the official opening at 11 am. The guest speaker is broadcaster and Rose of Tralee presenter Dàithi Ò Sè. 

  Over the two days there will be an agricultural panel discussion, Meet and Greet Roscommon county players with the Nestor Cup, Bizworld presentations, presentation of Give together funds, Show your Business Expo plus many other activities, including a kids corner, face-painting, food tasting, Music, Irish Dancing and many more activities.
