Ballymoe FC will celebrate its 50th anniversary with a weekend of football and community events later this month.
The celebrations begin on Friday, September 25th when Ballymoe’s senior side plays its first home game of the season against St John’s Athletic at 8 pm.
On Saturday, September 26th, underage games will run from 1 pm to 5 pm before the formal anniversary celebrations get underway at the club grounds at 5.30 pm.
A Legends Match involving former Ballymoe players will then kick off at 6.30 pm.
Afterwards, players, supporters and friends of the club will gather at The Tavern for refreshments, a raffle and an opportunity to share memories from the past five decades.
The club says everyone is welcome to attend as it marks 50 years of football and community involvement.
