Auction of lands at Rockfield

36 acres of prime agricultural land at Rockfield will go under the hammer at a public auction on Friday, July 27th.             The auction takes place at 4 pm in the Royal Hotel, Roscommon, conducted by local auctioneer Padraig McNeill. The 36 acre farm has a four bay hay shed with a lean-to cubicle shed, an open yard and silage slab. The lands have stock-proof fencing and there is planning permission for a four-bay double slatted shed.             The land has approximately a half-mile of road frontage on to main and side roads and there are nine different entrances to the land, greatly easing access to the farm. There is also both mains and river water. The land may be sold in two lots. For further information on this prime parcel of land, contact TJC O’Keeffe at Abbey Street, Roscommon.
