Athlone Gymnastics Club recently held a very successful club competition (the first such competition to be held by the club in three years).
There were over 100 gymnasts taking part and the club were delighted to be able to invite family members into the gym to see the performances. The competition was very strong on the day with many gymnasts tied for places.
In a statement the club said: “We would like to congratulate all the gymnasts on their achievements as it is very difficult to perform routines in front of a large crowd.
“A big thank you to the coaches, judges, helpers, and committee members who did a super job in bringing it all together. We also want to thank all the parents for their kind support throughout the difficult Covid-19 restrictions and for supporting our recent raffle”.
