Cllr. Domnick Connolly has this week welcomed the work that has been carried out by Roscommon County Council on the Square in Athleague. ‘I would like to take this opportunity to thank Martin Keaveney, Frank Mullen and Martin Treacy in the Roscommon area office as well as all the outdoor staff for carrying out great work in this location,’ stated Cllr Connolly. ‘This work has improved the general appearance of the area and will no doubt be a big help to the local Tidy Towns Committee when judging takes place later this year.’
