Roscommon Arts Centre is to be made more accessible, at a cost of €1 million, it was announced this week. The allocation, under the Arts and Culture Capital Enhancement Support Scheme II, was welcomed by Deputy Michael Finneran. ‘The allocation of €1 million to the County Roscommon Arts Centre, which is ran under the auspices of Roscommon County Council, is for an extension to the Arts Centre. This allocation of funding will lead to greater participation in the arts in County Roscommon. The main focus of ACCESS II is the refurbishment and enhancement of existing facilities.’
