European boxing gold-medallist and double Olympian Aoife O’Rourke is set to receive a hometown hero’s welcome on Sunday afternoon in Somers Park in Castlerea.
The homecoming event is set to coincide with a special fundraising concert for St. Michael’s Special School in Castlerea.
La Bamba are re-forming for this one-off special performance in the stunning outdoor venue in Somers Park, Castlerea between 2pm and 3.30pm
During the event people will get an opportunity for a meet and greet with Aoife and also have a chance to get some pictures.
It promises to be a wonderful afternoon of music and celebration.
