Aoife O’Rourke begins her Olympic qualification bid this evening

Castlerea Boxer Aoife O’Rourke gets her Olympic qualification journey underway this evening with her first fight in this year’s European Games, which is taking place in Krakow in Poland.

The Tarmon fighter will face Cindy Djankeu Ngamba in this evening’s bout at approximately 6pm.

Aoife must win three fights to reach the final of the European Games and in-turn would guarantee her place in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
