Amenity grants welcomed

The allocation of community and amenity funding to organisations in South Roscommon has been warmly welcomed this week by local Fine Gael councillor John Naughten. ‘The funding that has been allocated to community groups in South Roscommon is most welcome,’ said Cllr. Naughten. ‘This includes €1,400 for the Clonown Community Centre Committee as well as the €1,600 allocated to Drum Heritage Ltd and €400 for Monksland Community Ltd. These community and amenity grants are provided by Roscommon County Council and are testament to the great work that is being done in the community by these groups.’
