This year’s Loughglynn Music Festival will place over the June Bank Holiday weekend from Friday, May 31st until Sunday, June 2nd. The members of the organising committee have gone to great lengths to ensure that this year’s line-up is bigger and better than ever.
Opening the festival on Friday, 31st of May are father and son duo Dominic and Barry Kirwin, accompanied by their band.
On Saturday, June 1st you can dance the night away to John Glenn & The Mainliners – the band with the magic beat!
A huge crowd and superb night is guaranteed
on Sunday, June 2nd, when the Queen of the Woodlands selection event takes place. From 9 pm, nine fantastic contestants for 2019 will take to the stage to be interviewed by popular compere Gerry Glennon. This promises to be an enjoyable event for all the family.
Following the crowning of the winner, patrons will be able to dance the night away to the very popular Heebie Jeebies band. This popular and exciting band are noted for their highly energetic and lively performances that encourage the audience to the dancefloor and keep them there! The Heebie Jeebies’ have built up a big fan club and will draw a large crowd.
There will be a late bar each night of the festival and dancing each night from 11 pm until 1 pm.
