Well-known local artist Alan Tarpey was recently commissioned by Professor Mary McCarron, Trinity College Dublin, to provide a picture for her offices in Dublin. Professor McCarron is the Director of the Trinity Centre for Ageing and Intellectual Disability, meaning that Alan’s work in the offices there will have a national platform.
The Roscommon artist is staging his next exhibition soon in Athlone. This collection of new work will be launched on Friday, November the 29th at Coosan Cottage EcoGuesthouse, Athlone.
