REA Seamus Carthy says that US property buyers are now flocking to secure homes and investment properties in Roscommon and surrounding counties.
Over 22% of overseas enquiries for Irish property are now coming from the USA. Accordingly, REA Seamus Carthy decided that the time was right to tap into this elusive market.
REA Seamus Carthy ran a strong marketing campaign in the USA which culminated with their property exhibition in Fitzpatrick’s Grand Central Hotel in New York earlier this month.
Aishleen O’Toole, Chartered Surveyor with REA Seamus Carthy, said that the buzz experienced at the exhibition was “phenomenal”.
“The exhibition exceeded all expectations and contacts made were extremely worthwhile” she said.
Registered Irish buyers who are working in New York attended the Exhibition. These buyers currently work for lucrative companies including Ralph Lauren, Indeed Recruitment, Stripe, Carat Media, the FAI (Football Association Ireland) and Tourism Ireland.
In a press statement, REA Carthy said: “These are lucrative companies and the employees have strong buying power”.
