Additional funding has been approved for work at Creggs NS, a fact welcomed by Deputy Noel Treacy. The funding has been approved under the Devolved Capital Project Scheme, which allows School authorities to control the planning and construction phases of improvement works at their Schools. ‘The awarding of extra funding to the School to complete its works is most welcome, and will ensure that Creggs NS can complete its building project at the very earliest opportunity. This funding has been approved to address an unavoidable cost overrun incurred, as a result of the ongoing building project at Creggs National School. ‘The announcement follows representation to Minister Hanafin, on behalf of the School, and I am delighted to confirm that Creggs School is now in a position to complete its building project,’ concluded Deputy Noel Treacy.
