Accident victim Oisin widely mourned

 

 

The man who died following a traffic accident at Monksland on Saturday was a successful auctioneer who was a native of Frenchpark, Co. Roscommon.

There is widespread grief at the tragic passing of Oisin Allman, a married man who was in his early 40s.

The single-vehicle accident occurred on the M6 Athlone between Monksland Exit (junction 13) and Ballinasloe East (junction 14) at 3.20 pm on Saturday afternoon last.

Mr. Allman, the driver of the car, was fatally injured. He was removed to Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe where he was pronounced dead. The female passenger was also removed to hospital but with non-life threatening injuries.

            The late Oisin Allman of Grattan Park, Galway City is mourned by his wife Caroline, mother Theresa, niece Sinead, the extended Allman and Reynolds families and a wide circle of friends.

Reposal at O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour in Galway on Friday, 9th of June (from 6 pm) with Removal at 8 pm to St. Mary’s Church, Claddagh. Funeral will follow 11 am Requiem Mass on Saturday, 10th of June.
