The President’s Award is Ireland’s very own National Challenge Award, the country’s most prestigious and respected individual award programme, and a challenge from the President of Ireland, to the nation’s future. Ms. Áine Connaughton of Lecarrow is this month aiming for the Presidential Gold Gaisce award. Ms. Connaughton has already earned the bronze and silver President’s Awards and is now striving to achieve the President’s gold award. Áine is organising a bag-packing event in Supervalu Roscommon this Thursday and Friday to help raise funds for Habitats for Humanity. Your help with this would be greatly appreciated.
