Along with a brand new look is news of a brand new wedding coordinator to carefully guide couples through the planning process of their big day at Radisson Blu Hotel, Athlone.
Aishling McConn joined the team at Radisson Blu Hotel, Athlone at the end of 2016. Having studied Hotel & Catering Management at GMIT, Aishling went on to work in Double Tree by Hilton, Burlington Road as part of the events team and from there moved to the Abbey Hotel in Roscommon as the Weddings and Events Executive.
Speaking about her recent appointment as Meeting and Event Executive at Radisson Blu Hotel, Athlone, Aishling said: “I’m thrilled to join the team here at Radisson. The hotel is going through an extensive refurbishment, which is really exciting to be part of. The initial phase of this was to completely refurbish the Marina Suite so it’s wonderful for me as the Meeting & Event Executive to have a brand new space to show couples interested in a wedding on the banks of the Shannon. We really look forward to welcoming anyone interested in getting married with us here at Radisson to our Wedding Showcase on the 22nd of January.”
The Wedding Showcase at Radisson Blu Hotel, Athlone takes place on Sunday, January 22nd from 2 pm to 5 pm in the newly-refurbished Marina Suite with canapés on arrival and a selection of wedding suppliers attending on the day for hints and tips to make any wedding wonderful!
