A lot at stake on Sunday admits Rowley

Longford selector Declan Rowley says that they have a few injury worries in the run-up to Sunday’s game but he is hopeful that they will be cleared up in time.   ‘Padraig Berry and Bernard McIlvanney are both doubtful and we will not know until Saturday how they are fixed but we are confident they will be fit and we are delighted to say that David Barden should return to the team after his injury which would be a big bonus’ he said.    ‘We owe Roscommon a beating after what they did to us in the past two years but we seem to find it hard to beat them. We will have to play very well if we are to win.    ‘We were happy with our form in the second half against Leitrim but Sunday is a totally new ball game but we are looking forward to it. The winners will be in a great position on the league table so there is a lot at stake’ he said.
