RosArt ’93 is currently preparing to celebrate its 15th annual exhibition and you are invited to join in as they celebrate fifteen years of bringing the visual arts to Roscommon. The strength of the group lies in the variety of the work produced, providing interest for all. The group has not stood still. Each artist has developed in their own unique way. The variety comprises of painting, print, drawing, collage, mixed media and photography. In order to deepen their understanding of art they have attended third level and have travelled extensively to view many major exhibitions. Members have been selected to exhibit at Iontas, North Western Artists, Boyle Arts Festival, Atrium Gallery Longford and Roscommon Arts Centre. Through the years they have availed of the expertise of many leading artists, including Mick O’Dea, Donald Teskey and Eithne Carr. The exhibition opens of Friday 11th of April at 8 pm in the Abbey Hotel, Roscommon and continues until Sunday 13th April. Well-known local artist Noel Molloy will officially open the exhibition. A warm welcome is extended to one and all.
