There were 13 patients on trolleys in the accident and emergency department of Roscommon County Hospital on Tuesday morning last. Figures released by the Irish Nursing Organisation revealed that there were 13 patients on trolleys in Roscommon, five in Portiuncula and sixteen in both Mayo General Hospital and University College Hospital Galway.
