Roscommon community-based radio station RosFM have won an O2 ability award for 2007. The Roscommon town based station won the award in the Learning Development and Progression section and they join 49 other winners who received their awards at a gala function at Dublin Castle last night (Wednesday) attended by President Mary McAleese, businessman Denis O’Brien (sponsor) and presented by RTE broadcaster Ryan Tubridy. The highlights of the O2 ability awards will be shown on RTE 1 TV on Thursday night (tonight), 14th June at 10.45 pm. See page 7.
