Ben back on Roscommon stage

A play written by the writer of the hit TV programme ‘Pure Mule’ will be staged in Roscommon later this month. The play, called ‘Eden’, will star Roscommon town native Ben Mulhern and Hazel McGlynn, who is a first cousin of Fr. Ted star Pauline McGlynn (Mrs. Doyle). 

  The play, written by writer and former actor Eugene O’Brien, who was also responsible for co-writing RTE’s ‘Pure Mule’, will be staged over three nights on Saturday 17th, Sunday 18th and Monday 19th November, and is an enthralling realistic portrayal of the breakdown between a married couple in rural Ireland.

I suppose it was only a matter of time before we were once again subjected to brand Brippa! Ah yes, last week model turned wife turned reality show harpie turned  mum-to- be, the gorgeous Pippa O’Connor announced herself and hubby Brian Ormond were ‘in talks about filming another TV show.’ No doubt the sequel to last year’s snore-fest, ‘Brian and Pippa Get Married.’

Roscommon mum features on Garnier Skincare TV Adverts

A Roscommon mum is currently showing off her radiant looking skin on television alongside fellow mum, TV presenter and face of Garnier UK UltraLift, Davina McCall.

  Geraldine Grealy, from the Spinney, Abbeytown, Roscommon is a mum of one, married to local hotelier Tom Grealy from the Abbey Hotel.

  Geraldine partook in Garnier’s nationwide UltraLift Challenge in August of this year and in the coming weeks will be seen on air alongside TV Presenter Davina McCall across Ireland and the UK as one of the thousands of women who loved the results of the Garnier Ultralift Cream.
